The Gateway to Central Philippines

If you haven’t been in Cebu or have been there already and still are looking for spots or destinations to see and visit, the video below is a good guide for you to explore Cebu. I stumble on the video while I was browsing the net for information since January is fast approaching and Cebu is very well known for the Sinulog Festival. In fact, as early as October hotels and pension houses are fully booked already for the Sinulog activities.

The Battle Between CRon and Zlatan Continues

Yesterday before we watch the movie, Tarzan, I went to buy tickets for the January 2 friendly match between Real Madrid and PSG. The champions of Spain are going to face the champions of France. It may be just a friendly game but there must be some bragging rights with it since two of the most expensive football players are facing France’s current league leaders Paris Saint-Germain. At the same time, it will be the first time that Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ronaldo will face each other again since CRon single-handedly eliminated Sweden in the World Cup qualification match last month.

After having the tickets on my hand, I am so excited that I will be able to watch live another high profile football match, more so that it will be Real Madrid, my favorite team who are playing, as if I won the mega millions jackpot in lottery. And we will be driving again for almost 50 kilometers just to watch the game but I think it is worth the travel since it’s seldom you’ll have such match with two of football’s biggest names facing each other. This could be Zlatan’s only chance of revenge against Cristiano Ronaldo after he was humbled by Ronaldo’s hat trick during the second leg of the World Cup qualification. And this could be another battle between Cristiano Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

How to Have a Successful Bike Trip

These days, the trend of cycling is making a big comeback. In fact, there is a time of the year when people decide to travel the world together with their bikes. They can do this by loading them on their car (road trip) or boxing it up and travel via plane. Regardless of what biking plans you will choose and employ to see the world, there are lots of things that you must keep in mind when getting ready for a bike trip. And here are some of them:

Pack proper clothing

This may be an obvious tip but you should never forget to take a look at the weather forecast in the place where you are going before you pack for your trip. Once you have done your research, pack the proper clothing accordingly.

Be knowledgeable about repairs and adjustments

You will be cycling in an unknown territory and you can’t surely afford to encounter any problems on the road. However, we cannot be able to predict things so it is best that you come prepared. Aside from knowing how to fix flat tire, you also have to know how to adjust your bike’s brakes, replace a slipped chain or tighten the bolts.

Choose the best bike rack for your needs

This tip is applicable for those who will be traveling via road trip. There are different types of bike racks out there– trunk rack, hitch rack and roof rack. Try to determine which of these types would work well for your needs. In addition to that, opt for a rack that is manufactured by a reputable bike rack company.

Have the right biking equipment

Safety should be your utmost priority. That is why be sure that you have a helmet that fits your just right. In addition to this, you must also install some lights on your helmet and bike for late night bike travel.

Biking is one good way to travel. Not only will it enable you to see the world, it can also do great wonders for your mind and body. In addition to being environmental friendly, it also allows you to enjoy the sceneries and to travel at your own pace.

Coron: Vacation and Diving Destination

Asia is known for its pristine white beaches like the ones in Malaysia, Thailand and of course the Philippines. All over the archipelago of the Philippines, one can find unexploited natural white sandy beaches from north to south. Dive and vacation destinations abound in this country. There is a particular spot in this country that was listed among the world’s natural wonders. One of the places that are frequented by foreign and local tourist alike, is Coron Island in Palawan.

Coron is a wedge-shaped limestone island (which is very common in Palawan), with few of its coastal areas being covered by mangrove forests. It has seven lakes, famous of which is the nationally-acclaimed cleanest lake in the Philippines, the Kayangan Lake. It also has a number of islands with white beaches and clear blue waters perfect for snorkeling, deep-sea fishing and shipwreck diving.

Coron is a 2nd class municipality in the province of Palawan, Philippines. The municipality of Coron from Mount Tapyas view deck to Coron public utility vehicle terminal covers part of Busuanga Island and all of the nearby Coron Island. Both islands are part of the Calamian group of islands in northern Palawan. Coron on the other hand is also a popular diving destination. The aquatic views from the sunken Japanese warships off Coron Island are listed in Forbes Traveler Magazine’s top 10 best scuba diving sites in the world.
