What to Expect on a Caribbean Cruise

Arguably one of the most relaxing and luxurious ways to travel, package or all inclusive cruise holidays have got it all: top-notch service, exquisite cuisine, superb facilities and some of the most stunning destinations known to humankind. Of the list of locations visited by these liners, Caribbean cruises take in some of the most beautiful.

From Florida to the Bahamas, Barbados to St Lucia, Caribbean itineraries visit the type of destinations that make you sigh in awe. Soft white sands, gently lapping shores and a light breeze rustling the palm trees – and that’s just the beach. Don’t miss a trip to see colonial cities of old, lush steamy rainforests or sparkling waterfalls. And in-between ports, enjoy the many facilities onboard ranging from swimming pools and fitness equipment to chilled piano bars.

This is luxury through and through; but it doesn’t have to come with a lavish price tag. It might be the perfect way to spend your holiday this year but when it comes to fantastic cruises, 2012 is packed with great deals and plenty of discounts.

Aside from the usual online savings, there are often numerous deals to be had on the likes of cabin upgrades, drinks packages and even onboard spending money. On top of that, you will often find reductions on the cost of cruise holidays as you draw near to the departure date. Like any package holiday, you can often find late deals on cruises and bag yourself a significant bargain by booking a few weeks prior to the departure date.

Or if you’re planning a special occasion and you want to book in advance, make sure you book as early as possible – preferably with the launch of a new season or brochure – and take advantage of early bird deals and booking incentives. It all helps to make things that little bit easier.
